Heatwave, schmeatwave: life must go on, rooms must be painted, brownies must be made.
one medium zucchini
1 cup – 1.5 cups sugar (depending on taste)
0.5 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
0.3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
0.5 teaspoon salt
Grate the zucchini and mix in the sugar, oil, and vanilla. Wait 5 or 10 minutes – this is crucial, because it allows the moisture to come out, so you can mix in all the dry ingredients. Mix in the rest of the ingredients. Bake in an ungreased, uncovered pan for 30 minutes in a medium-temperature oven.
